Let the length of shadow reduced by a factor of x.
So, 6.40 × x = 4.80
so, x = 4.80/6.40 = 3/4
So, 5.60× x will be the shadow of the other pole = 5.60×3/4 =4.20
Or, 4 m 20 cm is the length of the shadow.
