a 6 m wide path runs around the inside of a rectangular lawn whose length is 110 m and breadth is 80 m . Find the area of the path . If the cost of laying grass in a 1 m square lawn is rupees 7.50, find the total cost of laying grass in the lawn

length= 110-6 104m
breadth= 80-6= 74 m
area of inner rectangle= 104×74
=7696 m
area of outer rectangle= 110×80
=8800
area of path = 8800- 7696= 1104
cost of laying road = 1104×7.50= 8280rs
