Hello!

Given ---›

R = 6ohm

Since wire is doubled so,

Area (A) = 2A
Length (l) = l/2

Using formula ===>

R = pl/A.........(1)

R' = pl/2*2A

R' = pl/4A........(2)

From (1) and (2)

R' = R/4

R' = 6/4

R' = 1.5 ohm

Thanks!
