I’ll let you find the answer yourself, but consider Ohms law, which says V=IR. You can then use algebra to rearrange the equation to get current by itself and you end up with I=V/R I=V/R .

Answer:

Given,

V=6 v

R=5 ohm

I =V/R

I= 6/5

I = 1.2 amp

therefore, current through the resistor is 1.2A
