A 60 kg boy rides in an elevator that accelerates downward at 1.8 m/s. What is the net force excerted on the boy?

Mass = 60 kg
Acceleration = 1.8 M/s
we know ,
Force = Mass × Acceleration
~ F = M×a
so.. F = 60 × 1.8
(values are in their SI. units )
F = 60 × 18 /10
F = 6 × 18
F = 108

Therefore , Net force = 108 Newton/ N !!

Acceleration = 1.8m/sec

f = mass * acceleration

f= 60 * 1.8

f= 108 N
