Given: Initial Mass of Man (m) = 60 kg
Weight of Man(F1) = mg
Weight of man When accelerated upwards (F2)= m(g+a)
Percentage Change in Weight = [(F2 - F1)/F1] x 100
= [m(g+a) - mg]/mg] x 100
= (a/g)(100)
= 2.45 x100/10
= 24.5%
The apparent percentage change in his weight is 24.5%
