Amount of oil in the tank= 60 Liter
Percentage of oil used by Sam= 40%
Liters of oil used by Sam= 40÷100 *60=24
Liters of oil left in tank=60 - 24 = 36 Liter
(i) Capacity of oil tank= 40 liters
Liters of oil left with Sam= 36 Liter
So
Percentage of oil filled in tank= 36÷40*100=90
(ii) Liters of oil used every day= 3 liters
Days mentioned= 10 days
Amount of oil used in 10 days= 10*3=30 Liter
Percentage= 30÷40*100=75%
