HII,
HERE IS YOUR ANSWER! !!

(1) The capacity is 60 l  so
Used = 40% of 60 = 40×60/100= 24 l
 So remaining= 60−24 = 36 l
Now this 36 l is poured into 40 l tank so % of tank filled = 36/40×100
= 90%

(2)
Quantity of oil used daily = 3 l
Quantity of oil used in 10 days = 10 × 3 = 30 l
Percentage of oil used from the 40 l tank = [30/60 ×100]% = 250/3 %

40percent of 60 is 36 ..

1. 40L tank is filled with 36 L which is
90 percent of 40L tank filled with..

2. Given 3L per day and need to find pecentage used in 10 days of 40 L tank.
First oil use in 10 days = 》3L*10days
= 30L
Then as we know that 40L tank is filled with 36L
So therefore the percentage will be 30/36*100 which = to 83.33%.
Hence 83.33% is the answer.
