Answer:

Required speed of the train is 15 m/s.

Explanation:

Given, Length of the train  = 60 \: m

Length of the bridge  = 120 \: m

The train took time for crossing bridge = 12 second.

We know ,

Speed =  \frac{distance}{time} ......(1) =\frac{Length \:  of \:  the  \: train+ Length  \: of  \: the \:  bridge}{time}  =  \frac{60 + 120}{12}  =  \frac{180}{12}  = 15 \: m {s}^{ - 1}

Required speed of the train is 15 m/s.

By equation (1) we can find value of speed, time and distance alternatively.

Answer:

reqired speed trasin is 15m/s

Explanation:

Given, Length of the train=60m

Length of the bridge =120m

The train took time for crossing bridge =12sec

We know that

speed = distence/time

            =length of train + length of the bridge /time

          = 60+120/12

          =180/12

           =15m/s
