Answer:

distance =60 m

time =5sec

speed=?

speed =distance/time=60/5=12

SPEED =12m/sec

speed=12m/sec

distance =540m

time=?

time= distance/speed =540/12=40sec

Anonymous: mine is just a guess
vjsharma715: total distance travelled by train to pass the pole is 60m+60m =120 m and and the same way in another situation
vjsharma715: just imagine train jas to cover 2 times 60m distance to cross the pole
Anonymous: why 60+60m does the train pass it twice
