given,
solution of water and alchohol=60lts(20lts alchohol+40lts water)
add 20lts of alchohol to solution.
now,
solution =80lts(40lts alchohol+40ltswater)
concentration=(40/80)100%
                      =(1/2)100%
                      =50%
so, we should add 20lts of alchohol to produce a solution of 50% alchohol concentration
