Given the question,

Addition of extra milk and water  = 7:5

Now from the question

Let's assume that,

63 liter mixture = \frac{milk}{water} =  \frac{4}{5}                         ..............(i)

After addition, the resulting mixture will be

63 liter mixture = \frac{milk}{water} =  \frac{7}{5}                         ..............(ii)

after that,

60 liter of the mixture is drained out              ..............(iii)

and this drained mixture is replaced with the 60 liters of the water

Now by doing a quadratic equation here from above all equation we get,
