distance between the other two corners is 30 m.

a/c to question, A 68 cm long rope is used to make a rhombus on the ground.

so, perimeter of rhombus = length of rope

⇒4 × side length of rhombus = 68

⇒side length of rhombus = 68/4 = 17

now using formula,

4 × (side length)² = (1st diagonal)² + (2nd diagonal)²

⇒ 4 × 17² = 16² + (2nd diagonal)²

⇒(34)² - 16² = (2nd diagonal)²

⇒(34 - 16)(34 + 16) = 18 × 50 = (2nd diagonal)²

⇒2nd diagonal = √(900) = 30

hence, distance between two others opposite corners is 30m
