A 69-year-old man has been having problems with memory and disorganized behavior for the last few months. The patient forgets the names of family members and loses his way back home and that in general he is unable to remember new information .Previously, he functioned at a much higher level than he currently does. Memory impairment and language impairment are noted on a mental status examination.
