❤resistivity be ρ

R =ρ x l / A

6= ρ x l / A (eq1)

when wire is doubled then l=l/2 and area becomes 2A

so new resistance is

R=ρ x l /2 x 2A

R= ρ x l/4A

by solving this we get

R/6 =1/4

4R=6

R=6/4=1.5 Ω
