total area to be painted= 7.5×4.6= 34.5 m²

Now the Cost of painting 1m² is 0.50,

Total Coat= 34.5×0.5= 17.25.

Answer is 17.25

\huge\mathfrak{Answer}------

We know that the area of a rectangle

= lb [ where l is the length and b is the breadth . ]

Given ,

Length = 7.5 m

Breadth = 4.6 m

Therefore ,

The Area = 7.5 × 4.6

= \bold{34.5} m^2

Given , rate per metre sq . = 0.5 Rs per sq. metre .

Therefore , cost of covering 34.5 metre sq. of area

= 0.5 × 34.5

= \bold{17.25 .}

Therefore , the cost = \bold{Rs.17.25}
