Given :  A 7-meter concrete wall is to be constructed on an erosion prone area.

Diagonal braces were put to hold the formworks,

To Find : what is the distance of the

braces from the bottom tip to the top tip if it is inclined 35°

Solution:

Height of Wall = 7 m

Angle of inclination  = 35 °

Sin angle = Height / Hypotenuse

=> Sin  35 °  = Height of Wall / Brace length

=> Sin  35 °  =7 / Brace length

=> Brace length = 12.2 m

Horizontal Distance =    7 / tan35°  = 10  m

Tan 15°  = Height of hotel / 450

=> Height of hotel = 120.6 m
