A 700 Kg car moving at 10 ms-1 takes a turn around a circle with a radius of 25 m. Determine

the acceleration and the net force acting upon the car.​

the centripetal acceleration is given by

a= v square/ r

a= 10 square/25

a= 100/25

a=4m/s square

using the Newton second law , the centripetal force acting is F=ma

F= 700×4

F= 2800N
