Given - Mass - 72 kg

Area - 0.042 m²

Find - Pressure

Solution - The three terms pressure, force and area are related as Pressure = Force/Area.

Force is the product of mass and acceleration due to gravity. Hence, calculating force first.

F = m*g

F = 72*10

F = 720 Newton

Now, calculating pressure by the above mentioned formula.

Pressure = 720/0.042

Pressure = 17,143 Pascal

Hence, the pressure exerted by man with respect to ground is 17,143 Pascal.
