Answer:

Option (b)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Number of tickets are sold fair by the each student in the bar graph .

To find :-

If the above data is to be drawn on pie chart,then what is the angle of sector for the tickets sold by student Rizwina?

Solution :-

Given that :

From the bar graph

Taken :

On X-axis names of the students

On Y-axis number of tickets sold by each students

Number of tickets sold by Nirmal = 20

Number of tickets sold by Azar = 10

Number of tickets sold by Aswin = 21

Number of tickets sold by Vicky = 11

Number of tickets sold by Sam = 23

Number of tickets sold by Rizwina = 15

Total number of tickets sold by all the students

= 20+10+21+11+23+15 = 100

If the data is represented by a pie chart there are sectors for each student.

The sum of all angles is equal to 360°

Number of tickets sold by Rizwina = 15

Total tickets = 100

Part for the tickets sold by Rizwina = 15/100

=> 3/20

The angle for 3/20 out of 360°

=> (3/20)×360°

=> (3×360°)/20

=> 1080°/20

=> 108°/2

=>54°

Answer :-

The angle of sector for the tickets sold by student Rizwina is 54°

Used formulae:-

  • The sum of all angles in pie chart is 360°

Points to know:-

  • There are rectangles in the bar graph.

  • The width of all the bars are equal.

  • There are sectors in the pie chart.

  • The sum of the angles of sectors in the pie chart is 360°
