A 7m long flagstaff is fixed on the top of a tower standing on the horizontal plane. From point on the ground , the angles of elevation of the top and bottom of the flagstaff are 60° and 45° respectively. Find the height of the tower correct upto one place of decimal.(✓3=1.73).​

Let CD be the flagstaff whose height is 7 m, fixed on the tower BC of height h metres. From a point A on the ground the angles of elevation of top and bottom of the flagstaff are 45° and 30° respectively. Hence, the height of the tower = 9.56 m.
