Step-by-step explanation:

The coordinates of vertices of Rectangle ABCD are ,A(-6,-4),B(-4,-4),C(-4,-2) and (-6,-2).

Distance formula ,for finding the distance between two points ,(a,b) and (c,d)

    =√(a-c)²+(b-d)²

AB=CD=√(-6+4)²+(-4+4)²=√2² =2

Bc=AD=√(-4+4)²+(-4+2)²=√2²= 2

Perimeter of Rectangle ,ABCD , which is a square

=Sum of Length of all sides

  = AB + BC+CD+DA

    = 4 × Length of any side

   = 2 +2+2+2 or → 4 × 2

   = 8 units

hope it works out
