A 8000kg engine pulls a train of 5 wagons, each of 2000kg, along a horizontal track. If the engine exerts a force of 8000N, then calculate:
(a)the net accelerating force
(b) acceleration of the train
(c)the force of wagon 1 on wagon 2

Note: Please explain with full method and with the reason.

mass =8000kg
force = 40000N
frictional force= - 5000N
1) net acceleration force= 40000- 5000= 35000N
2) a=f/m=35000/10000=3.5 m/s^2
3) force of wagon 1 on wagon 2= 35000N - 7000N= 28000N
