Given -

Length of the pole = 8 meter 57 centimeters

= 857 centimeters

The part of pole that remains out of pond = 3 meter 98 centimeters

= 398 centimeters

SO,

depth of pond = Length of the pole - The part of pole that remains out of pond

depth of pond = 857 cm -

depth of pond = 459 cm

depth of pond = 4 meters 59 centimeters

Answer:

cell wall

In a plant cell, the cell wall is the only part that is non-living because it is an extracellular product and exists outside the living boundary of the cell i.e. the plasma membrane and protects the cell besides providing it a definite shape.
