A 9, 100-kg truck runs into the rear of a
1,000 - kg car that was stationary The
truck and car are locked together after the collision
and move with speed 8m/s.
Compute how much kinetic energy was
"lost" in
this Inelastic collision.(Irrelevent will be reported)

● points to note before solving:-

  1. during collision momentum of the system remain conserved .
  2. the value of e during inelastic collision is 0
  3. e (restitution coefficient)= velocity of separation/velocity of approach
  4. change in kinetic energy of intial and final is measure of its lost.

now lets solve....

hope it clears doubt. ..

Good luck ♧♧
