Step-by-step explanation:

I feel some mistake in options,but this is the method u can follow if u hav different question too!

Given,

sum of the ages of son and father=60yrs

let the age of son="x"

=>x+fathers age=60

fathers age=60-x

Given,

six years ago fathers age was five times the age of the son.

=>5(x)=current fathers age-6

5(x)=(60-x)-6

5(x)=54-x

6(x)=54

<strong>\</strong><strong>bold</strong><strong>{</strong><strong>\</strong><strong>boxed</strong><strong>{</strong><strong>x</strong><strong>=</strong><strong>9</strong><strong>}</strong><strong>}</strong>

therefore,current age of son=9

after 6years=9+6=15yrs.
