A 9 ohm resistor is connected to order resistors of 3 ohm and 6 ohm to get equivalent resistance of 9 ohm.Explain how will they be connected​

The resistor will be connected in series in order to get equivalent resistance of 9ohm. because in series the resistors are simply added.

R = R1 + R2

= 3 + 6

= 9 ohm

both the resistor should be connected in series combination as In series combination we get maximum value .As in this we simply adds the resistors as 3+ 6= 9 ohm.
