Answer :-

Given :-

Mass of a Car ( m ) = 900 kg

Kinetic Energy ( K.E ) = 320000 J

It can be written as :-

K.E = 320 \times  {10}^{3}  \: J

To find :-

velocity at which the car is travelling = ?

Solution :-

We know that ,

K.E \:  =  \frac{1}{2} m {v}^{2}

 320 \times  {10}^{3}  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 900 \times  {v}^{2}

 {v}^{2}  =  \frac{2 \times 320 \times  {10}^{3} }{900}

 {v}^{2}  =  \frac{2 \times 320 \times 10}{9}

 {v}^{2}  =  \frac{6400}{9}

v \:  =  \sqrt{ \frac{6400}{9} }

v \:  =  \sqrt{711.11}

v \:  = 26.67 \: m/s

Car is travelling at a velocity of 26.67 m/s.
