A 900kg car is to be accelerate from rest to a velocity of 12m/s in 8 seconds.how large should be the force required to accelerate it in the way?

Answer:

mass of the car = 9000kg

u=0

v= 12m/s

time taken=8s

to find acceleration =v-u/t

=12-0/8

=1.5m/s²

so,the acceleration is 1.5m/s²

to calculate the force required to accelerate it in the way.....

F=ma

=9000×1.5

=13,500 N

13,500 is the force required....
