EXPLANATION

Let the sequence be,

a, a^2, a^3, a^4.......

CONDITIONS OF AP

Common difference will be same in ap

Let first term be a

common difference = b - a = a^2 - a

=> a (a - 1)

common difference = c - b = a^3 - a^2

=> a^2 ( a - 1 )

therefore common difference is not same

b - a not equal to c - b

therefore,

this sequence is not in ap

SOME RELATED CONDITIONS

IN AP = 2B = A + C

IN GP = B^2 = AC
