a=b/a equation 1
substitute equation 1 in
a+a+a+a=b
b/a + b/a + b/a + b/a=b
4b/a=b
4/a=1
a=4
substitute the the value of a in equation 1.
a=b/a
4=b/4
b=4×4
b=16
