Distance between two points (x1,y1) and (x2, y2) is given by the formula

Distance = √[(x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2]

Here, x1 = a + b

x2 = a - b

y1 = b + c

y2 = b - a

Thus, distance = √[(a-b-a-b)^2 + (b-a-b-c)^2]

=> √(4b^2 + (a+c)^2)

=> √(4b^2 + a^2 + c^2 + 2ac)
