Answer:

n{(AUC)×B}= {(a,b,p,q,r,s)(2,3)}

n{(AUC)×B}= {( a,2),(b,2),(p,2),(q,2),(r,2),(s,2),(a,3),(b,3),(p,3),(q,3),(r,3),(s,3)}

Question:-

A={a,b,p} , B={2,3}, C={p,q,r,s} then what is the value of n[(AUC) x B] ?

Required Answer:-

Given:-

  • A={a,b,p}
  • B={2,3}
  • C={p,q,r,s}

To Find:-

  • n[(AUC) x B]

Solution:-

Here,

  • A={a,b,p}
  • C={p,q,r,s}

Therefore,

(AUC) = {a,b,p} U {p,q,r,s}

=> (AUC) = {a, b, p, q, r, s}

Again,

  • B = {2,3}

Therefore,

(AUC) × B = {a, b, p, q, r, s} × {2,3}

=>(AUC) × B = {(a, 2), (a, 3), (b, 2), (b, 3), (p, 2), (p, 3), (q, 2), (q, 3), (r, 2), (r, 3), (s, 2), (s, 3)}

=> n[(AUC) x B] = 12

Hence, n[(AUC) x B] = 12
