a) a ball is dropped from a height of 500 m. calculate the magnitude of displacement travelled by the ball in 2 s,4 s, 6 s,8 s,and 10s. (b) plot a graph between distance and time.(c) what is the shape of the graph so obtained? (d) from the graph find the distance travelled in 1st second, 2nd second, 4th second, 6th second and so on. do these numbers form any mathematics pattern

a)let displacement in 2s 4s 6s 8s and 10s is S1 S2 S3 S4 AND S5

S1=1/2 ×10×2^2=20m

S2 =1/2×10×4^2=80m

S3=1/2×10×6^2=180m

S4=1/2×10×8^2=320m

S5=1/2×10×10^2=500m

b)S=1/2 ×a ×t^2

S proportional to t^2
c)it's circle.

d)for find distance from the graph you may drow the velocity verses time graph..and then find the area under curve you get the distance....

hope it's helpful to you......
