a) A boy has a mass of 40 kg on the surface of earth. At the surface of moon gravity is 1.6 N.
Find:
1) the weight of the boy at the earth's surface.
2) the mass and the weight of the boy at moon's surface.

Explanation:

1) weight on earth= mg

= 40× 9.8 ( g = 9.8 in earth)

= 392 N

2) gravity in earth = 60 times gravity in moon

weight in moon.= m×60 g

= 40 ×60× 9.8

=23520

and mass doesn't vary in all places or planet
