A) a car is moving on a leveled road and gets its velocity doubled in this process:
i) how would the potential energy of the car change?
ii) how would the kinetic energy of the car change?
iii) how will its momentum change?

i)the P.E of the car will double

ii)the K.E of the car will become 4 times the original

iii)momentum will also double

i) the potential energy of the car is given as mgh or mas in this case(where m-mass,a-accelaraion, s- distance). accelration is equal to velocity/time so the velocity will be directly proportional thus as the v doubles the potential energy is double

i)the formula for k.e is 1/2mv*2 so as the velocity is doubled the kinetic energy is 1/2m(2v)*2 which is equal to  1/2 mv*2 (4) thus its 4 times the k.e

iii) momentum's formula is given by p=mv here p and v are directly proportional thus as  p doubles ,the velocity doubles as well
