Solution :-

Distance covered in 1 L petrol = 16 Km

Distance covered in 2¾ L petrol :-

⇒ 16 × 2¾

⇒ 16 × 11/4

⇒ 4 × 11

⇒ 44

Car will cover 44 km of distance in 2¾ L petrol

SOLUTION :

Distance car runs in a 1 litre = 16 km

Distance car runs in a $\sf 2\dfrac{3}{4}$ litre = $\sf 16 \times 2\dfrac{3}{4}$

➮ $\sf 16 \times \left(2 + \dfrac{3}{4}\right)$

➮ $\sf 16 \times \left(\dfrac{8+3}{4}\right)$

➮ $\sf 16 \times \left(\dfrac{11}{4}\right)$

➮ $\sf 4 \times 11$

➮ $\pink{\sf 44\: km}$

Therefore, the car will cover 44 km distance using 2 ¾ litres of petrol.
