the extra amount as VAT=RS.2880 WE HAVE TO FIND OUT HOW MUCH IS THE PERCENTAGE OF 2880 IN 24000(ORIGINAL PRICE). X/100x24000=2880. X240=2880. X=2880/240. =12. Therefore rate of VAT=12%
