a) A cyclist goes round a circular track once every 2 minutes. If the radius of the
circular track is 100m, calculate his speed (given π=22/7)​

The cyclists goes around the circular track once every 2 mins means that ,

Time taken to cover the whole perimeter (once) of the circle is 2 mins.

Now, radius = 100m,

So, length of perimeter= 2pi (100)=(2*3.14*100)=628m

Now, Speed=distance traversed/time

(i.e distance of the perimeter traversed once/ time taken to traverse it once)

So, required speed=628m/2min=314m/min

Or, speed=628m/(60*2)sec=5.23m/sec ( 1 min = 60 sec).
