Answer:

The price paid by dealer A is Rs 5450 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The selling price of article by dealer B to dealer A = Rs 5000

The dealer A sell the article to dealer C at = Rs 6000

The GST tax applied = 18%

Let The price paid by dealer A = Rs x

According to question

The price paid by dealer A = The selling price of article by dealer B to dealer A + 18% of  selling price of article by dealer B to dealer A

Or, x = Rs 5000 + 18% of Rs 5000

or, x = Rs 5000 + 0.18 × Rs 5000

Or, x = Rs 5000 + Rs 900

Now, As The tax distributed between state and central

So, The state tax amount = Rs 450

Or, x = Rs 5000 + rs 450

Or, x = Rs 5450

Hence, The price paid by dealer A is Rs 5450 . Answer

Answer:

The Price Paid By dealer A is Rs. 5,900.

For Dealer A ( it is the case of inter-state transaction):

C.P. = Rs. 5,000

GST = 18 % of Rs. 5,000 = Rs. 900

Therefore, the price ( incl. GST) paid by dealer A.

= C.P. + GST

= 5,000 + 900 = Rs. 5,900

Step-by-step explanation:
