Answer:

a) Tarbuck, Earth's crust is made up of several elements: oxygen, 46.6 percent by weight; silicon, 27.7 percent: aluminum, 8.1 percent; iron, 5 percent; calcium, 3.6 percent; sodium, 2.8 percent, potassium, 2.6 percent, and magnesium, 2.1 percent.

b) A plateau, surrounded by mountains on all sides, it is called an Intermontane plateau. Whereas volcanic plateaus are produced by the lava which flows down from volcanic eruptions. Deccan plateau is the example of volcanic plateau.

c) The reason they are referred as primary is that they acts as a source for the formation of other two, after the formation of igneous rocks by cooling and solidification of lava coming from deep in the interior of earth and erupted on earth surface by any volcanic activity ,they come in contact with nature and by prolonged erosion and weathering they form sediments which consolidates to form sedimentary rocks, later on with effect of Pressure and temprature they are metamorphosed to form metamorphic rocks, so being the source for all other types igneous rocks are called primary rocks.

d) The inner core is solid due to the massive pressure on it. Scientists theorize that the heat of the solid inner core is keeping the outer core in a semi-liquid state which allows the inner core to spin at a slightly different rate than the rest of the earth.
