(a) A fuse wire melts at 5A .If it is desired that the fuse wire of same material melt at

10 A, then whether the new fuse wire should be of smaller or larger radius than
the earlier one ? Give reasons for your answer.

(b) If the radius of a current carrying conductor is halved, how does current through
it change ?

It's radius is greater because it requires more heat to broke which means it have large density.

According to the question if we take eg. of water flowing through the pipe it's radius is great so water flow is more if we half pipe radius of wire same way flow of current will be slow.
