a)A metal P, which is used in thermit process, when heated with oxygen gives
an oxide Q, which is amphoteric in nature. Identify P and Q. Write down
the reaction of oxide Q with HCl and NaOH.
b) When a metal X is treated with cold water, it gives a base Y with molecular
formula XOH (molar mass of X = 40) and liberates a gas z, which easily
catches fire.
Identify X, Y and Z and also write the reaction involved.
