Given :-

• Initial Velocity = 5km/hr
• Time = 10min = 1/6hr

To find :-

• Distance Covered by bicycle = ?

Solution :-

By using equations of motion ,

→ s = ut + 1/2at²

→ s  = ut

→ s = 5 × 1/6

→ s = 5/6km -------⇒ (1)

Again , using equations of motion we have

v² - u² = 2as

(0 - 5)² = 2(-1)s

s = 25/2 -----------⇒ (2)

Solving (1) + (2) , we get

= 5/6 + 25/2

= 13.33km

Therefore , the total distance covered by the bicycle is 13.33km
