A alone can finish a work in 10 days which B alone can do it in 15 days. if they work together and finish it, then out of total wages of Rs 3000, what amount will A get?

I think it will be 1330 (approx)

In a day A does  1/10 of the work
in a day  B does  1/15 of the work
working together there work ratio A:B=15:10=3:2
 If common factor is X then 5X=3000 ⇒X=600
   A gets 1800 and B gets 1200
