a) Amit has a son named as Bharat and a daughter named as Chitra. Amit wants to conduct his
daughter's marriage out of the sale proceeds of branches of mango plantation which is an inherited
property. But Bharat does not like it. So, Amit made a contract with Bharat based on certain terms.
Accordingly, Bharat has to conduct Chitra's marriage out of his own savings and Amit has to stop the
disposal of the branches of mango plantation. Based on this contract, Bharat made a written
agreement with Chitra and promises to perform her marriage at his own expense. Meanwhile, Amit
has died in a road accident. After the expiry of father, Bharat express his unwillingness to do Chitra's
marriage at his own expense on the ground of lack of consideration from Chitra. Advise Chitra as per
the rules of consideration under Indian law. What would be your answer if the same is decided as per
