Step-by-step explanation:

Let the total profit be x

the profit ratio of A&B is

A=8000*5=40000

B=10000*12=120000

profit ratio -A:B=1:3

Now,

A'share=1/4*total profit=2500

1/4*x=2500

x=10000

It is the total profit, i.e earned by both A&B.

So, total profit earned by A &B together is Rs. 10000

Also we can check this, wkt A's total profit is given and ie. 2500

so,1*10000/4=2500.

Answer:

8500

Step-by-step explanation:

A = 8000*5. B= 10000*12

40. 120

1. 3( 40*3= 120)

now 20% profit of A is also included into 2500 so we have to deduct first this 20% to find out the actual profit of A,so 2500*20/100=500

now A's actual profit = 2000

now,

if 1=2000 then 2000/1= 2000 so B's profit is 2000*3 = 6000 total actual profit is 8000 so total net profit is 8000+500(A's another profit) = 8500
