Given :-

An object is moving with a velocity of 5 m/s . It's velocity changes to 13 m/s in 4 seconds .

To Find :-

It's Acceleration

Used Concepts :-

If Any object/body is travelling with initial velocity ( u ) , final velocity ( v ) and the time ( t ) in which u changes to v . Then , acceleration ( a ) is given by :-

  •  a = \dfrac{ v - u }{ t }

Solution :-

Let us assume that ;

Initial velocity of the body = u = 5 m/s

Final velocity of the body = v = 13 m/s

Time Taken = t = 4 s

Acceleration = a = ?

=>  a = \dfrac{ v - u }{ t }

=>  a = \dfrac{ 13 - 5 }{ 4 }

=>  a = \dfrac{8}{4}

=>  a = 2 m/s²

Henceforth , The Acceleration of the Given Body is 2 m/s²
