• time = x

solution:

1. a go for x time so distance = 10x
2. b go for x time so distance = 12x
3. total distance ia = 50 km

$10 x + 12x = 50 \\ 22x = 50x \\ x = 50 \div 22 \\ x = 2.27$

so meeting time is 2 hour and 27 min
