The proportionate amount of capital brought in by  C (new partner) is Rs 45,000

Explanation:

C Share in the firm = 1/3

Suppose the total share of the firm = 1

After giving share of profit to C (1/3}

Remaining Profit will be 1-1/3=2/3

If for the profit of 2/3 the capital of A & B = 90,000 (54000+36000)

If the proit will be 1 then capital will be 90,000*3/2=1,35000

if the profit will be 1/3 then the capital of C wil be 1,35,000x1/3=45000
